Your trailer is 50-amp? With two hot legs powering the breaker panel?
And your inverter is only outputting one hot leg?
If this is the situation there are lots of ways to get where you want to go, the easiest being using a Victron Multiplus 120x2 inverter which automatically can swap between 50a and 30a service, and will provide power to both sides of your breaker panel all the time.
There are also many ways to wire a manual transfer switch so that the output from the inverter feeds both legs of the breaker panel.
One thing to be aware of is that you need to handle the neutral/ground bonding properly. When on shore power the trailers neutral & ground are not bonded, but they should be in the inverter. For this reason, when you switch between your shore power feed and the inverter feed you also need to be switching the neutral.
