Has Hughes Autoformer gone out of business? I have had a 30 amp Hughes Autoformer for 7 years, but have now upgraded to a 50 amp Airstream. I want to get a 50 amp Hughes Autoformer. Everywhere that I look says "Out Of Stock", even on the Hughes website. The Hughes website even lists the 30 amp model as "Out Of Stock".

Bobbo, Not sure why but they started to discontinue a lot of their products last year. This place claims to have a limited stock of the 50 amp units: https://mobilemusthave.com/collectio...es-autoformers

I wonder if they chose to discontinue the autoformers due to the 2020 NEC change which technically makes using them in a CG a violation of the NFPA

Hughes is making new versions, so they have discontinued the old ones. I asked about this earlier this year and that's what they told me. The new 30A version should be coming out in May, and the 50A in June. The new versions combine the Autoformer and Power Watchdog into one box. The price is somewhat less than what they were selling the two units for previously, according to Hughes.

I actually found one at the Camping World in my area. I don't really need the Power Watchdog function as I already have a Progressive Industries EMS-PT50X. Thanks everybody.

Just for kicks, after picking up the autoformer, I went to the Camping World website like I was going to order another one. It showed "out of stock". I got their very last one.
