Converter not going into bulk mode

I have an auto-detect WFCO converter that came stock in my trailer. When I run down the batteries it doesnít kick into bulk mode (14.2V) to increase the charging rate to the lithium batteries. I know that the voltage across the battery will not go up when the converter kicks into bulk mode, but the current should. With just 10% SOC, the current as read from the Smart Shunt is only 10A. After 6 hours of charging the SOC is only 30% and the current is down to 6A. Iíve unplugged from shore power, turned off all the breakers, shut all accessories off, and cycled the DC power off, didnít help. The converter does have a blue light so itís in lithium mode. Any ideas on how to reset the converter?

I have a similar issue with my WFCO 9855 AD converter. I have the blue light but it won't switch to lithium charge mode. Did you ever get it resolved?
Thanks

My trailer has been at Colonial since 12/10 (not a huge deal since itís not camping season for me). At first they said it was my shunt, which of course is wrong b/c a shunt does not affect charging. After a bunch of back and forth, they put a more senior tech on the issue. My converter was not in the batch of serial numbers to get the firmware upgrade, but they went back and forth with WFCO. They finally decided to have the firmware upgraded which is where I stand now. The converter was sent back to WFCO about two weeks ago. Waiting for update from Colonial.

One thing that helped prove my issue during this saga was to have screen shots of state of charge. Clearly my converter was not going into bulk mode (but every once in a while it would. I showed these screenshots to the senior tech who was like, ďyup, this converter is badĒ.

This is EXACTLY what I did no more wondering if it auto detected or not and now it is charging at 55amps.

My new 2022 27FB WFCO 9855AD would never switch to lithium no matter what I did. I sent it in for the firmware update but even after that it would never switch to lithium mode. I drained the batteries plugged it in and repeated this a few times just gave up.

Since the converter sits behind the electrical panel you can't see if it is in AGM or lithium mode anyway so why be wondering all the time. Just change it out to a fixed lithium converter and be done with it.

This is what I have, not sure itís still in production, itís strictly Lithium. Thatís okay, I am not planning on moving back to Lead(AGM). WCO WF-8950L2-MBA
