converter breaker box battery shut off

I have the old univolt in my camper. I want to replace the breaker box and relocate it near the batteries. Right now it is in a closet by the shower and doesn't seem to be a very safe location. I am also changing out the univolt for a converter. BD1260cl. I want to install a battery monitoring system and disconnect. Plus a hard-wired surge protector. I have asked Randy several times what all I need and he just keeps saying the converter.

my freshwater tank is there in the front too. While doing this work is there a mentoring system that would monitor both the tank and the battery?

I need to hurry and order the items I need so they will be here in time. Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to order in order to accomplish these things?

Hi

There are lots of choices about what to do / what to use / how do do it. Without standing in your trailer and looking at all the things you want to do throughout the trailer, there is no way to come up with "one answer".

Best guess:

Battery monitor: Victron BMV712

Disconnect switch: Blue Sea

12V fuse panel: Blue Sea

120V stuff likely comes from Home Depot.

SeaLevel stuff is commonly used for tank monitoring these days. You have a stick on that goes on the wall of the plastic tank. It has to match up with the tank dimensions.

Battery wise, I would suggest you consider lithiums on this involved a rebuild. That's not to say they are a must, just something to understand and to consider.
