Control Panel Short

I don't know if I am posting this in the right place, but I had a short in the control panel in my '91 Excella. The control panel is in the hood above my cook top. The tank level indicators as well as the water pump switch are all located in the hood. I have called Airstream to see about ordering a replacement hood, but this part is no longer made.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of where I might be able to find a replacement or if there is someone that works on this type of part?

Thank you so much for the help...

Vickie

We have opened the panel. There is a plastic plug that connects the wires from the face of the panel. That white plug box overheated or shorted out and has melted together a bit. The pump switch for the water pump used to click off and on, now it's slack. Nothing on the panel works (hood light, tank level indicators, fan).

Also, around the same time one of my batteries cracked. I'm thinking I may need to also replace the converter..

Thanks so much..

Thanks, CFW but my Airstream is a '91. I don't think this will work... Shoot, I don't know where I am going to find a replacement.

Is there a part number anywhere on the board or switch assembly?
