City Power Help

We just got a 31 foot 1975 Sovereign and picked her up yesterday. We had a dealership inspect it before we bought it and they said everything was in good working order. However, we can not figure out how to get the city power to work. It's plugged in, but not providing power to any of the outlets. Is there a power switch we are missing. I know this is going to end up being something obvious, can anyone help?

Check the main breaker panel. On my 1976 rear bedroom Sovereign it was in the nightstand on the left side of the bed. If you have a rear bath it is usually in the closet. Make sure the main breaker is "on" and the other breakers are "on". Good luck, Chris

Always hard to figure these out over the internet. Here are some things to try.

- As CBWELL points out, there's a breaker panel somewhere. Find it, and confirm that the breakers are all on. Use a flashlight if necessary.

- It is possible that the city power outlet you are using isn't working, or is shut off at its breaker.

- It is possible than any adapters or extension cords you are using aren't working properly.

- There may be a wiring problem that the dealership missed.
