Cerbo, Solar controller and shunt remain on?

Instead of removing my Battle Borns this year, I fully disconnected them and left them in the battery box. I was surprised to see LED activity on the Victron solar charge controller, shunt, and the Cerbo GX. My guess is the solar charge current is powering these devices?

I did not see these Victron units last year. Since I have the partition near the rat's nest removed while troubleshooting, I just noticed.

Yes, in ours the solar controller is hooked to the positive bus bar, so anything on the DC side is powered even if the batteries are disconnected and not plugged in. I added a solar disconnect switch which is recommended in solar installations if you don't want to inadvertently power something. Earlier this year when I was replacing the batteries and had removed them, my SO was watching TV which was sort of freaky until I remembered the solar was hooked up.

Thanks. I thought I had lost my mind, or this installation was violating the laws of physics. I assume once the sun sets, these Victron units will be de-energized.
