Best Battery Location - Seeking Advice

I am currently replacing the front flat exterior body panel below the front window on my trailer and wanted to get folks opinions.
The trailer currently has the battery boxes located under the front goucho. I notice that many of the new Airstreams have the battery box located on the tongue of the trailer. I was thinking about moving the batteries to the front tongue area like the newer trailers as I think they would be easier to maintain and the battery boxes seem like they leak and rot the front floor.
The battery box covers on my trailer are looking pretty dingy.
What would you do?
This is not my trailer but looks similar to this one.

Here is a picture with the battery box on the tongue.
