Battle Born GC2 in stock AS battery box?

Has anyone installed the Battle Born GC2 100ah lithium batteries into a 2015 size AS battery box? I have a 2015, 25ft. Flying Cloud. My battery box has a Vinnie's Airstream box extender but otherwise is unmodified. I have 2 Trojan T105s installed at present and would like to switch to BB lithium. BB says they introduced the GC2 model in the traditional golf cart shape for those users that needed a battery more like the T105 shape. The regular LIfE PO4 model definitely won’t fit in the box. BB advised that the GC2 should fit with no problem. I have found the GC2’s measurements are slightly different and could be problematic. It looks like once they were in you could never get them out. Before spending this much money I thought I would see if anyone has tried this approach and learn from their experience. Thanks in advance.

If they fit that tight and you can't remove them with a battery lift strap Drill several 2" drain holes in the bottom and push them up that way.

The 'box' on the tongue of our Classic is not for batteries but I did drill the holes as it was constantly getting water in it.🤓

Thanks Bob, That’s a good idea. I will give it a try. Also, BB said I could shave off the carrying strap
attachment points a gain a good part of an inch. I don’t want to give up the hold down screw rod though. Thanks for your reply.

we moved our bb lion battrey inside under the bed. the lion do not vent.
it removed weight off the tongue. thus we have more as carry capacity as the lion weigh a lot less than the stock lead acid
