Question 2018 Airstream Flying Cloud Converter?!?!?

I have purchased a new converter for my 2018 Flying CloudFB. The install should be really simple, but . . . .

I can't find the Converter! Can anyone tell me where it is located? I called Airstream and they were very helpful. They told me I could bring it in and they would install in for me, in November!

If you can help, I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks.

On most AS trailers, the converter is located in the space behind the circuit breaker panel or is built into the panel.

This is what the current converter looks like: https://parts.unitedrv.com/products/...amp-wf-8955-ad

It’s behind the AC panel. Unscrew the AC panel and it can be slid out of its hole with the wiring still attached. The converter is screwed to the floor in the void behind it.

While it may be a simple job I had Sutton RV in Eugene do a replacement in ours about 5 years ago and was happy with their work.

We have a 2015 FB FC - Converter is located in a compartment under the inside head of the bed. Need to lift up the mattress to see the screw-in compartment.

I just changed the converter on my 23fb. It’s under the fridge in the ac/dc distribution panel. Two screws to remove
Front cover
And you are in. FYI when you are done make sure the store switch is install working. Relay was mounted on back of enclosure box.

On my 2015 16 Sport Bambi; it is located under rear bed support on the curb side. BEHIND the fuse and breaker panel. The Tech support folks at WFCO are great to trouble shoot and validate need to replace converter. Paid double for WFCO 55 at the Las Vegas Airstream dealer than available online, GM never answered my issue. .
