I have read all the threads on issues related to batteries and batteries underneath the bed for a
Caravel. I am still not quite sure what to do so help would be appreciated
Now, I have one deep cycle battery rated at 95 amps. I would like to double that. The battery is under the bed and I have been opening the 4 inch tube that allows the large electrical shore power cable to pass out of the camper (hope that makes sense) thinking that would at least allow some ventilation.
I have a PD9245c power converter and a battery monitor that I just installed.
I messed with it yesterday and I can build a stand and add another battery from a space perspective.
The easiest would be to continue using deep cycle batteries, I am most comfortable with them from camping and boating.
If I am in danger, I could go to AGM but that is new territory for me in terms of charging, etc. Just more questions and something totally new and I hate screwing up if I don't have to.
I would rather not relocate the battery or batteries because storage space is pretty limited anyway.
So, any help would be appreciated.
