1965 24' Tradewind - Need Univolt & Wiring Help!

All,

Previous owner removed most of the bathroom(left the tub) in my 1965 24' Tradewind including the Univolt box. Univolt was lost and when removing the bathroom items, he left several wires capped. The original circuit breaker box and breakers are present and working along with the 110V household black cord.(as seen in photos)

I hooked up my 12v battery jumper and also plugged into the 110V house current:
1. the goucho wall spot lights and the bedroom wall spot light work. also the porch light works.
2. 2 of the ceiling lights work in the front of the trailer - the middle ceiling light and bathroom ceiling light don't work. could be faulty ground but maybe the disconnected wires.
3.110v outlets work up front including the exterior outlet however the 2 outlets in bedroom on both L & R walls not working.

*there are 2 pair of 12v wires not connected and one pair are hot
**there are 4 pair of 110V wires and only 1 pair is hot.

Can anyone familiar with wiring please let me know what can be used to replace the Univolt box?...and which wires go to the Univolt?..and lead off Univolt??

Can you also look at the photos i have uploaded and please explain which wires go to the Univolt? And what the other wires go to?? * i assume some of these wires are leads to the center part of trailer where the outlets are getting juice??

**There is also a small gang of wires protruding from a round hole(wires have been cut close to wall)and a small switch in the last photo with green arrows - what are these for??

**In the close up photos I have labeled which wires are currently "HOT" when 12v or 110V current is turned on. I've also numbered the pairs of wire.

**I may have been mistaken regarding the Univolt being removed?? I have read some old posts stating that the Univolt is located under the bathtub??

Anyone have any idea where the Univolt is located on a 1965 24' Tradewind??

A fellow member sent me a wiring diagram for a 1965 28' Tradewind(diagram below) and it shows the Univolt on the opposite side of the fuse panel - *My trailer has the fuse panel on the opposite side of the wiring diagram, so could it be the Univolt is located under tub??

I still need help with the wiring and will search under the tub tomorrow to see if i can see anything

Did you figure this out? I just gutted my 66 TW and traced all the wires.
#5 goes to a 110 outlet next to the toilet
#6 also connects to this outlet and goes to the univolt

One of #3 or #4 comes from #6 and the other one goes to the outlet on the driver's side. From there it splits to the outlet on the passenger side.

So if you tie #5 and #6 together and trace whether #6 goes to #3 or #4 that is where you put the Univolt replacement.

I have a followup question. On my TW at the circuit panel, the big honking 30A wire goes directly to the circuit breaker on the right of the panel, then distributes into the 2 smaller breakers on the left side. But there are 3 wires coming out of the wall, two of them going into the 2 smaller breakers and a 3rd set of wires that were taped off. Any idea where this mystery was supposed to connect at the circuit breaker or where the other end is in the trailer?

I sold that trailer and bought another

That you for your reply!
I wound up selling that particular Airstream before digging into the wiring.

Just after selling that trailer I bought a 1963 19' Globe Trotter that is in excellent condition with all wiring intact. Just had a little work on the plumbing which has been repaired.

We don't use the trailer much mainly as an office

All the best!
