07 Safari Stuck in Storage Mode ?

Taking trailer out of storage and it wont power up. The electric jack work's.No 12V into power converter. Store/Use switch dosnt seem to "Click" when put in use and no red lite. Lite is on short time and "Clicks"going to store.Sounds like a Relay is under front bed @ front. Possible source of problem ?
Thank's in Advance.

Probably a dead battery.

Try plugging in the 7 way to your tow vehicle, should be able to get the tongue jack up and have the switch go to "use" while that's plugged in. Battery may be toast but might take at least a little bit of a charge while you drive.

Installed battery's that had been charged over winter. But maybe not enough amps, but jack works ? Will try connecting Truck.

The newer trailers have the relays for store/use mode. I've seen several of them with those relays bad, and have replaced them. That's solved the problem on those trailers, and the relay isn't that expensive.

I had my 25FB do that once. When I plugged it into the tow vehicle and pushed the rocker button again, the red light came on. It has never done it since.

So is the red light supposed to go off? Mine seems to stay on no matter which direction I toggle the switch.

The light should be out in stow mode.
Also installed New Digital Thermostat, IKEA handle on screen Door and planned a couple more of those under $100 mod's.

Installed new digital thermostat? We have been looking all over for a 12V unit to replace the old spring unit which I am getting tired of rebuilding all the time. Where did you find the 12V unit?

So I wonder what is wrong with the switch? I will look at it more closely tonight while I am installing the new PD9260 Converter/Charger.

knunt,

The original one was squealing and was not charging the batteries (overcharging) correctly. I had one battery that was almost totally dry and one that still had some juice in it. I am charging them now that I have the new Converter / Charger installed that has a smart (Charge Wizard) feature to see if they will hold a charge to determine if I need to replace them. I added distilled water to the one battery and connected them to see what I have got.

BTW the store/use switch light on my trailer only goes out if the shore power is not connected. I hope that is normal. While the shore power is connected it will not go out but the load seems to be taken off of the converter/charger due to the fan speed dropping when toggled into the store mode.
