We just bought....

We just bought 2 Honda Eu2000i generators and a parallel kit. That will help power our shiny, new Air Conditioner we just had installed and our fridge. Well, the fridge will run on gas. Gas that will come from bottles sitting on my nice new bottle tray.

All of this in the name of comfort out on the playa.

I'll do a report on how all of our new stuff works. I have not even tested the fridge yet. The light works! The AC works and is so quiet.

it took Wise Sales all of 4 days to get my eu2000 to me. Great price.

The eu2000 definitely can't handle my DuoTherm 13.5K AC, but it's not supposed to. I'll have to use the Nokita 3500 during the day and hope it cools down at night. The Nokita isn't loud, but it's not quiet, either. Bummer.

You've got a quiet AC? or were you refering to the Honda eu2000?

Three weeks? Wow. I'm going to try to handle 3 days and then go ponder the whole thing.

Wise Sales??? Havn't heard of them. How much did they charge?? I got 2 of them and a parallel kit to run the AC if needed.
I know the Eu2000i will be quiet. But the AC is very quiet. Only fan noise is all I hear.

That is why I have my eye on a Yamaha EF2400IS. One of the EF2400IS (documented by several posters on the Open Roads forum) units is able to run a 13.5k AC and they are also able to be paralleled. I think Wise carries them too, a couple hundred dollars more than the Honda.

Does the Yamaha EF2400IS have an Eco-Throttle like the Hondas?
