Victron Multiplus Compact

So when I ordered new lithium batteries from Battle Born, they suggested the Victron Multiplus Compact Charger/inverter. I "wrongly" assumed that it was, in fact, compact. I looked at the size specs of every other thing I bought, except that. After opening the packages I found that it's not only NOT compact, but 20.5" high! I'm trying to figure out where to mount this sucker or simply send it back and get a different unit. Has anyone bought one of these for their trailer? I have a 2014 25' Flying Cloud FB. I have relocated the batteries under the bed and could probably fit this thing lying on it's side, but not sure that's a good idea. Any thoughts for mounting and/or ideas for another type of converter/inverter?
I also bought a BMV-712 battery monitor and the Orion-Tr Smart 12/12 30A DC/DC charger.
I already have 2 Zamp (90 Watt) solar panels on the roof and a Zamp ZS-30A controller on board. Will be adding another 180 watts soon.

It sounds like you ordered the Multi 2000.

You want to return that and get the 3000. Aside from giving you 50% more inverter power, the 3000 will fit under your bed close to the batteries.

Mine is placed on the outside curve and I can still get - bin in the storage area.

When I was shopping the 3000W Victron Inverter/Charger I found different dimensions on different sites. Do you have exact measurements of the Multi 3000 12V model (including any mounting flanges)? Thanks.

You want the 12/3000/120. There is only one cabinet size for the good old MultiPlus 3000.

https://www.victronenergy.com/upload...120V-US-EN.pdf

14.3 x 10.2 x 8.6 inches are the exterior dimensions.

You can see from my photo how it can be mounted under the bed.

It can also be placed in the trunk, center isle, side area like mine, or however you like but clears the bed just fine. Orientation does not matter either - Upside down, on its side, etc..

Just make sure the fan on the bottom has access to some airflow.

Thanks. The Victron would have fit my application, but I wasn't sure at the time because it looked too wide and (as stated previously) I was unsure I could trust the various dimensions I saw on-line. So I ended up with a Renogy that has served me well for the past year, but it was a tight fit because their stated dimensions did not include the mounting flanges (and additional 3/4" in width) and did not include their wire gromets (an additional 1' in length).

The available space in my class b is extremely tight and every inch counts.
