Solarmetrics - Out of Business?

Manchester, New Hampshire was the home of a Solarmetrics conversion done on my '89 AS. Last weekend,, a Power Source (TM) DC Charger/Converter under the front sofa blew (electrical mell and breaker blowm). I have been lookig for:
a) the Solarmetrics website
b) the Poer Source (TM) website or
c) a different solution from another company.

I have found a similar product at Progressive Dynamics (45A charger/comverter) and it looks like a good one.
Advice is surely appreciated.

solar metrics

I can't find any listing for a Solar Metrics in the Manchester Phone book, I do find a Solar Components Corporation, Phone 603 668-8186. Their address is 121 Valley Street.

I also find Solar Escape Tanning & Nutrition, I don't think that's what you're looking for.

There is also a Solara Systems, Inc. 15 Constitution Dr. Bedford, NH

That's about it from the White Pages

Good Luck

Mark

Solarmetrics moved to Florida over 10 years ago, the owner/founder passed away a few years back of a heart attack. They are gone, but the industry has evolved and there is now more than one supplier.

I like Progressive Dynamics

I liked Progressive Dynamics because I needed to find a company that would support their product. I called and did not tell him I was a dealer at first as I was getting help for a customer 3 hours away. The guy I got on the phone embraced the problem. He wanted to help, unlike a lot of times when you call company and they seem to do whatever it takes to get you off the phone.
We have been selling their converters on-line and have had few problems, and the ones we have had they have helped us.

Wow! I just bought a 1995 Land Yacht 35 with a complete Solarmetrics system that seems to be working.... we'll see. My point, however, is that I was looking for the company on the web and couldn't find them and now I see why from "Guido" in post #5. So, I guess I'll look into Magnum Energy since that is what I have in my other moho "Sylvie".

Does anyone have any comments or ideas? Is Magnum not the best choice for today?
