Excellent, I have the fuse holder ready. I guess it doesn't matter which post, right? they each have a number written on them.

Not to copper side. See pic. If you hooked to the copper side it would have to back feed through the 30 amp auto reset fuse under the bar. You need to hook it to the incoming wire side NOT the post fuse side.

The Airstream wiring schematic shows the positive output wire from the controller going to the copper side of the connection in my owners manual. Yes, it travels through the fuse back to the battery when wired that way. That is how I wired mine and how I’ve seen factory solar systems wired. It will “work” connected either way.
