Easystart

I installed the easystart on our 2012 30' International Serenity, 15,000BTU.
Our inverter brand is by Kipor, a 2600 W. This is a Chinese built generator but one of the higher quality brands.
First making sure I did the recommended 5 AC starts while on shore power, our generator runs the AC while on Eco-mode and only slightly increases the revs.
Never tried it in real hot weather but it works fine and even performs better on shore power.

It would do this every few minutes, never really getting going and the trailer cool. Any ideas why? I am not very knowledgeable with this stuff, nor have I had much time to troubleshoot - we tried it once while camping during the rolling blackouts in CA this Fall, but then had to high tail it out of where we were due to fire danger. Thanks.
May have to turn off / isolate battery charger - any other load.

Hi! Minus the generator, that is all from Torklift. They added a 2 inch receiver, and I bought the load and lock generator carrier which slides into the receiver.

Not shown, is that I recently got them to do very sturdy 3 inch lift as well, which allows more ground clearance and additional height for waste discharge.

So... with the easy start can the AC run on 15A shore power?

"So... with the easy start can the AC run on 15A shore power?"

Ours runs on a 20 amp AC when I use a short heavy cord. I do not know if it will run on a 15. I do not think so. I was seeing 15+ amps the last time I ran mine on a generator and was checking voltage and amps. I think our AC is 13,500.

I would not run it on a 15 amp circuit even if it seemed to run on it. I do not trust the 15 am connectors and cords I do not want to fry the compressor. I use a PD surge protector that shuts down for low voltage and I keep a voltmeter plugged into a circuit to see if I get a voltage drop or if the circuit has enough voltage. The surge protector also forces a 2 min delay for restart for any interruption. That is an important feature. Especially when you are fooling around with it and on marginal power.

Thanks. I assumed that was the case, but worth asking.
