Can anyone refer a good solar system installer in So Cal? We're in LA but not afraid to travel if we need to. Maybe a trip to Oregon is in order, to avoid California sales tax! We're looking to add solar to our 2007 Bambi 16', which I believe is prewired, if I'm not mistaken. I'm a little handy, but I don't trust myself with electrical work, hence the search for someone more qualified than me to do it. Thanks in advance for any advice, tips, etc.!

Hello and welcome.
That's a pretty bambi on your other thread.
You will certainly need a charge controller and a solar panel. (And how big you want your panel to be? Is there a space on the roof?)
Internationals didn't come with sophisticated electrics from the factory (in 2007 for sure). You may want to take your time to figure some stuff out, such that if you want to increase the battery capacity by addition of another, or upgrade the type of the battery, and upgrade your current converter to take care and prolong your battery life.
I haven't figured out my strategy yet even after owning it for 2 years, but then I didn't consider these high priority for my needs.
How are you looking to use your bambi? Boondocking, RV park hook-up camping, or as your backyard pool house?
Keep in mind, Bambi has a limited payload capacity. You may not want install equipments that you won't use a lot.

C&G Trailer in Bellflower or Inland RV in Corona will do a nice job installing solar on your trailer. Inland RV installed two 85 watt panels on my trailer and did a really nice job. Call and ask for Greg.
