Replacement of broken factory Zamp panel (90W)

Has anyone replaced a factory installed Zamp (90W) solar panel?

I have a 2020 FC 26 RBT, which came with two factory installed solar panels. Several years ago I added two more of the same panel, for a total of four.
Since then, the glass has been broken on one of the factory installed panels, which I would like to replace.

My Airstream is in storage and I don't have access to it to take a look at the factory mounting. Will I be able to remove the broken panel and replace it without removing the factory sealant and the factory bracket entirely? Or does the existing sealant and brackets need to be entirely removed to be installed on the new panel?

Thanks,
Ken

I think you could just unbolt (7/16” wrench) 4x, the panel from the bracket. The bolt is threaded into a nut that slides along inside the extrusion of the panel’s metal frame. Picture is from OE 90 watt Zamp panel on my AS.

They unbolt from the bottom. However, that panel is probably from their 'legacy' series and was called a 90 Long. Currently, they sell the OBSIDIAN series. You should probably call Zamp and ask if they are physically the same. Shorty of that, you may be on a hunt for some pull-outs or B-stock.

Thanks for the pic, I'll have to double-check when I get to mine, but from memory, the bracket on mine was different. There was a nut on the side of the bracket mounted vertically.

Hopefully it's as easy as you've shown.

Thanks.

Thanks, and yes, it is. I was able to buy the exact replacement online.

Finally got to snap a picture of how my factory panels are mounted. Doesn't look like it's going to be too easy to remove without undoing all the sealant and removing the screws mounted through the roof.
