As Lewster said in post 2, you'll probably want to replace the AC-to-DC converter to maximize the charging capabilities of the lithium batteries. Airstream didn't start adding converters with the lithium switch until sometime in the 2021 model year.

Depending on the solar controller you have, there may be a switch to select the type of batteries that are being charged (Victon one's do). If there is not one, you may also want to replace the solar controller to maximize the charging capabilities of the lithium batteries.

Hi

Airstream did not change all the electronics in every model in a single model year. When they did change this or that, it often was a "running change". Stuff that came off the line in September got this, and by November most of that model got something different.

The only way to really know what *your* trailer has is to look at your trailer. The Victron solar has a readout that is very different than the older stuff. (Victron is round and the older stuff is rectangular / light switch sized).

I think I am close to finding the answer ... and this thread popped. SITUATION: I am ground-up rebuilding my 70 Safari 23 and have one Renogy 12v/200ah battery. I also carry the portable Renogy suitcase. QUESTION IS: What Power Center / converter choices do I have --- that work with lithium batteries / solar charge etc ... ? Feel free to send me to anther thread if up-to-date answers already exist!

I added these two Ao lithium batteries ~ $1200 and the Wfco converter at $215. This gets the batteries to 100%. The lithiums have a nice Bluetooth app that calculates a bunch of info so no need for shunt. I didnt bother with the new Atkinson solar controller since I have a Renogy 100 suitcase to supplement the 180 panels on the roof. The Renogy was $150 including controller. I used the Zamp plug on AS.

Two lugs were needed for the batteries and pv to sae and sae cord

Total bill ~ $1600
