John and Kate,
You are lucky. I am across the country. I want more than the solar. I want the whole trailer! I sooo want a 62 flying cloud.

Looks like a nice installation. What are the specs of this unit and the wattage of your solar array? Is that a single panel?

Hey Mello Mike!
There are two 100 watt units on our roof and 4 6volt AGM batteries controlled by a MPPT Solar Controller. All of the specs for the system can be viewed at AM Solar!
SunRunner 100-22 System
If you contact them, please let Deb & Greg know you heard it from John & Kate!

John,
I really like your install. The panels aren't too conspicuous, they blend in well.
This looks like a real nice solar charging system and the price is right for a high quality sytem. I'm curious to know if you ran the wiring down the refridgerator vent?

I did not run the wires down the vent. I ran them through the roof underneath the combiner box that connects the two panels. It creates a watertight seal with the roof, and the wire is inside that, so watertight as well. This gave me the shortest run to the batteries which improves charging efficiency.
