Honda EV6010 Exhau$t??

O.K. so I got the EV6010 and I'm shopping (or attempting) for an exhaust system for it. Unless you're a Honda RV dealer you can't order parts? Camping World finally get Honda to send them some parts diagrams and then they quote all the bits and pieces as individual parts!!
Has anyone bought an EV6010 or 4010 and had this experience? They are quoting just north of $700 for a bottom mount complete, God knows what they'd want for the side mount setup??
If anyone can help me with this I'd sure appreciate hearing from you. If you had a good experience with a Honda RV dealer let me know who and where please.

Well it pays to shop around!! I posted the same info as above on RV.net and got a reply from a forum member with a similar generator to mine. Long story short he gave me the number to the Honda Generator Support contractor. They where quite happy to sell me the complete exhaust system I needed for $163 plus UPS ground.
Makes you wonder why Camping World quoted $700+ with my PC discount.
Honda Generator Support at 800-234-8989. Very nice folks and not at all like most call center parts sellers.

That's Camping World for you. I've not had a lot of good exp with them. I typically buy from www.rvpartsoutlet.com Never had a bad exp yet with them and without membership they are are more times than not less than CW.

Glad you found the parts for less....gotta love the web (if that's what you used). Web has saved me thousands!

Here's a thread on the topic:http://www.airforums.com/forums/f160...set-30760.html

I hope Glen updates us on his experience so far.

I have an EV6010 installed by the PO, I haven't had much trouble with it but it doesn't seem all that quiet to me.
