Honda EU2000i Generator Pricing Jan.2005

I am posting this today, January 14, 2005, because Honda/America is not allowing their dealers and distributors to sell Honda portable generators directly with online purchasing. No more click to purchase. You must telephone or use email ask ask for a price quote to purchase. It appears you can still purchase generator accessories online.

In my search for best internet pricing for 2 Honda EU2000i generators and a parallel power kit (Gentran 73131A, newer version, bolt on unit, 30Amp RV connector, (not twist lock connector) ) the best price found was

Mayberry Sales & Service, Inc.
PO Box 113 / 232 Main Street
Port Murray, NJ 07865
800-696-1745
http://mayberrys.com/

On Special for January, EU2000i = $879 each
Gentran Parallel Power Kit for 2 EU2000i's = $239
Free Shipping

Total price for a dual generator set up to power your Air Conditioner et al = $1997

Burning Man 2005 here we come.....

Just Purchased an EU2000i

Finally took the plunge. Bought it from Wise Equipment for $870.00.

Also bought an extended run fuel tank. Anyone had any experience with those?

We traded in our 1000 and $500 for the 2000, Shhhh paid less than $400 2 years ago for the 1000. Love the 2000, light weight and runs for 9 hours on a tank.

Can you tell more about the extended run tank. How much fuel does it hold, and how much does it cost? Is it from Honda?

Thanks. John

When we finally do get a gen, we're getting a dual or tri-fuel gen...I want one that runs on propane so that I don't have to lug around gas for it.

Is it the tank with the pressurised line to the generator?

Has anyone tried the 3000 Honda? Also I believe Yahama makes a tri power generator that is supposed to be quiet running too. Anyone know about these?

We used a 3000 this past summer, it worked great. however, it is too heavy to move around........ With No AC not really needed. You can take 2-2000's and tie them together to get all the power you would need. The Yamaha duel fuel is real nice. Lighter and more quiet when running on propane.

www.durationpower.com 6 Gallon Tank. The cost is the bad part. $109.99.

But then that's a lot better than having to get up in the middle of the night to refuel the generator.
