David,

Your going to need the EU3000 to run the AC. I have an Onan Microlite 2800 and it does just fine. The EU2000 will not be able to handle the start up when the AC first engages.

Where did you install the Microlite in the AS?

I'm considering getting a couple of Honda 2000s. You're probably better off with two 2000s rather than one 3000. The twos can be connected giving you more power and they are smaller, lighter & easier to pick up and pack. The 3000 can give you some back problems unless you have help lifting it.

I would consider two EU2000's -- they are light and in parallel have enough power to run the AC and not damage anything. Also, if you check under the Bambi Forum (2001 bambi) you can see how we mounted our Honda generators on the front of the Bambi
