Generator issue? Need help.

We recently sold our Yamaha ef3000 only because of its weight and size. We bought two Yamaha ef2000's and the sidewinder parallel cord. Each of the new generators has been used separately with no problems. This past weekend I hooked them up in parallel to use the air conditioning. The GFCI circuit breaker tripped and could not be reset. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What could the problem be? Thanks in advance for the help.

What GFCI breaker tripped?
I will assume you followed the directions in the manual for connecting and placing a load on the generators.
If you disconnect the generator will the GFCI reset?
Could be a bad circuit breaker.

The GFCI in the washroom outlet trips and cuts out power to the rest of them. The refrigerator also switches from ac to gas. When I switch back to just the one generator I can reset the GFCI. The owners manual for the generators says for twin tech operation check manual supplied with cord. There was none so I checked online. I'm connecting the ground and plugging in the banana plugs to each generator then starting each generator.
