Has anybody have any experience with an ETO brand generator. I saw an internet ad for a 3000 Watt inverter generator for under $900. Would like any feedback available. Regards Joe nm1oqrz
I haven't heard of the ETO brand, but I have heard ETO to mean "Engineered To Order" when discussing generators installed in custom truck bed configurations.
There is a brand called "ETQ" that can be found on the internet; Sears; etc. I would imagine that it is good for using around the house and maybe in an emergency; don't know how it would work under prolonged use.
I'm sorry but I misread the brand name. It is really ETQ and the model number is IN3500i. I saw it on the Northern Tools and Eastern Tools web site. Sorry for the error. Joe nm1oqrz
Generators are not a good place to skimp. Best consider yamaha or honda do not messwith cheap chinese brands. Sound restrictions will spoil your day!
I agree! I was leaning toward cheaper ones and bought a Yamaha 2400is hc and was running it in Colorado and had someone walk by and told me "that is one nice generator", never had someone compliment my generator before.
I have more generators than anyone should have: a 5000 Honda for the house, a Yamaha 2400 for when I need air conditioning in the Safari, a Honda 2000 for no a/c (and haven't needed to use yet) and now a Honda 1000 because it's easier to deal with than the 2000 (and will fit better mounted on the a-frame.) I prefer Yamaha to Honda, but got good deals on a used 2k and 1k.
