Anyone adapt the Zamp connection to allow use of alternative solar panels? As I understand it, Zamp uses a reverse polarity vs industry standard.
Thanks
Check with a multimeter before you assume your Airstream is wired to the Zamp standard. My Zamp input came from the factory wired for the standard pinout of the SAE plug, so I plug my battery maintainer into it directly and use my +/- swapping adapter on the solar panels.

Saying there is an "industry standard" is taking this a bit far. There is a 50/50 chance of the plug being wired correctly for a given gizmo. Indeed some popular outfits wire this or that way. As noted above, best to check things with a DVM ..... If you don't have a DVM, this is a great excuse to go out and buy one.
