Blue Ethernet cable

Hey all. New 2020 Bambi 22FB owner here. Under the bed, close to the battery connections and solar pre-wiring coming from the roof, I see a blue Ethernet cable. It’s not hooked up to anything. Questions:

1) Do you know where it ends up? By any chance, would it be close to where the SeeLevel meter is in the bathroom.

2) is it meant to connect to a remote solar converter meter?

Thanks in avance for the info.

Airstream installs that as part of the solar prewire. It goes to where they think the solar status panel goes. For example on my FC25 it goes above the stove near the inverter control panel. In my case you get to it by removing that panel and it’s coiled up inside the wall.

All that being said you could use it for other things if you aren’t using it for solar.

Yep and..... Yep. Part of the prewire. For battery monitor. Should be in the wall behind the Seelevel system. You might have to dig a little for it.

Ok. Thanks. The solar system I have uses RJ12 versus RJ45 (Ethernet). Would you happen to know if a simple RJ12 to Ethernet adapter would allow me to leverage that cable?

This might do the trick. Alternatively you can cut off the connector and crimp on your own RJ12.
