When I asked Roger at AMSolar he told me they are using 4950. Email from him was December of last year. I bought some for other stuff and it has amazing strength. Put two pieces of aluminum together, clamped one down and pull tested. 3/4 x 3/4 square and it started to move at about 35#. Incredible.

Nice guide here http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawe...HB%20Guide.pdf

About the only difference I can perceive is the color.... 4941 is white and 4950 is grey. I use them both but keep the 4941 on a roll. All of AM Solar's mounting feet come pre-taped with 4950. To me they are one in the same!

Tax credit

Lewster: that must be something local; I'm talking about the federal 30% credit that's been around for a few years. I think it goes to 2016.

???????????????

Yes, there is a federal tax credit for solar and RVs qualify as second homes. FL had a tax free provision for solar, but Oregon has no sales tax anyway.

Thanks Lewster -- thought so. Just didn't know if it was widely known.
