90w vs 180w, same size panel?

When I ordered my 2018 truck camper the dealer installed 2 160w panels, which were the same footprint as the 80w panels, which was offered at that time. My question is, is the same concept true today? Can you get, through an Airstream dealer, 2, or 3, 180w panels to take up the same amount of space on the roof as 2, or 3, 90w panels? And if so, why wouldn't you do that?
