50 amp upgrade

The 59 AS Ambassador (Hindenburger) was totally rewired by a commercial electrician in order to meet commercial electrical codes. Based on our projected power requirements we went with a 50 amp connection. We chose the current setup (Furrion 50amp 125/250v) based on quality, design, and durability. It is a clean set up and functions flawlessly.

The rubber hits the road at the breaker box

Nice picture, but I'd rather see the breaker box if you have supreme confidence in your electrician.

What, if I may ask, are your projected power requirements? That is a phenomenal amount of power for a (30 foot?) travel trailer.

Gee Tom, you can never have enough power for a '59. That's what I put in my 24 footer.

'59s are power monsters. Nothing but the best in a '59.

Funny, but I thought of you when I read the first post.

I remember reading about your power improvement plans for Mark Doane's Airstream when you were implementing the upgrades. At the time, I was too intimidated by you to ask why you thought you needed that much power since I was still learning all this stuff.

Since you're still intimidating, being old & talented as you are, I won't ask YOU where all that power goes.

Waiting to snatch the pebble from your hand,
Tom

All I can say is the sauna and steam shower takes a lot of juice. Then there's the Jacuzzi.
