I would like to purchase the paper gasket if possible. I'm replacing all my running lights and would like to do this correctly. I've not see the gasket forsale at Inland or VTS. Please see the pic below for reference. It's at the bottom. Could I make one? What is the material in question? Mine are in bad shape.

You really don't need a gasket "IF" you seal the hole that the wire goes thru.
I seal the hole for both the wire and the screw with a dab of Vulkem/Sikaflex/NP-1. FWIW I also make my own gaskets out of thin EPDM rubber, find a commercial roofing crew putting on that black roll roofing and ask for some scraps. The thinner the better. You might be able to buy bulk gasket material at an auto parts store like NAPA, don't recall having seen any at the local box type auto parts stores.
