It may be easier just to change out the sconce with a new 12V DC sconce that you can find online or Amazon.
I just changed out my main 4 x 6,500k super bright lights in my Sport with some changeable units that cost me about 20 bucks each. These new ones have 3 different color temps. so they will be easier on the eyes at night.
There are lots of options these days for LED's of all sorts of shapes and sizes.
So indeed, $25 each (delivered) is the going price for an assembly like that.
I'd go off and see if there is something that makes more sense / looks nicer before I dove into replacing the LED boards. A decade+ old LED design is "way far back" in terms of how far LED's have come over the years.

Bulbs are usually cataloged by their base. Just hard to imagine that AS had customed made bulbs and sockets made for a limited number of trailers. Definitely looks like a strange one. Any chance of changing out the socket to a readily available bulb base?
I just ordered some off of Amazon for our range hood. It had a small round oblong bulb. The ones from Amazon look very similar to what you have. You should be able to get a near exact replacement very easily.
