What is the size of AWG exterior lights

Calling for electrical help .

What is the size of shrink butt connector do I need for rewiring the exterior lights?
I am changing out 1/2 of my exterior lights ( cheap damn things ) as they blink or most of diodes are not lighting up due to water damage
Thank you

Laurence, we used 16ga marine grade stranded for the exterior lights. The shrink butt connector packets normally have a wire range they can be used for, say 16ga-18ga. Good luck.

The article I wrote for DoItYourselfRV.com should publish this week also, but the post post should cover all you need.

So I did read your blog on this and thank you for that. I installed one light with silicone and one without, when lit-up both had condensation in them.
Now to be honest my lights like yours my are from another source LED supplier so maybe they are coming out of the factory not sealed properly.

I am thinking because I have read and seen Auto guys modify their lights and take them apart then reseal the whole fixture, and maybe that is what is needed to be done here .??
