wall surface mount electrical outlet for FC28 Kitchen

Looking for options to provide a surface/wall mount electrical outlet in the kitchen of the FC28. They have an outlet up under the cabinet, but wife would prefer one on the wall to the right of the double windows. Was thinking I'd use surface mount wire raceway with couple of 90deg turns and just use a shallow surface mount outlet box with 2 sided tape behind it rather than drilling/screwing/riveting.

Anyone done something similar?

Did you do this upgrade? Have a 28RB on order and that’s one of the things we noticed and would want to change.

An outlet can be cut into the wall. We do it pretty regular around here.

We haven't done the upgrade and after living with the AS for 4 months, I'm not sure it's such a priority anymore for her. We're about to embark on a 3 month trip, so that may change.
