Type of recessed lights in CCD

Does anyone know what type/brand or recessed 12v lights are used in the CCD models (and maybe the other new models?).

and are they available from a general supplier? I'd like to add them or something similar to my 59.

can regular home-depot type low voltage lights lights be used as 12v by just wiring directly to 12v and not using the 110 transformer?

Thanks.
Doug.

Funny you should ask....

I started this thread 2 weeks ago after finally finding a faucet for my CCD. These are the direct replacements for the CCD lights in my unit on this sale page. Have Fun.....

unbelievable!

did you have any trouble ordering from them as an individual? I noticed 'case qty' listed on the regular sales page and no prices.

great link. thanks.

No problems what so ever. The round flush halogen lights are what is in my CCD. I bought 2 of the lights - the bulbs alone from Home Depot were more $$$$ and forget about getting them from an Airstream dealer and Airstream Corp.

I purchased the complete replacment faucet for $54 + shipping of all the other stuff and Airstream wanted $225 for a replacement and the parts had to be ordered from a dealer where they would add their plusup.

This is the supplier for these and lots of other parts that are currently not on the sale list but available at regular prices. They are fair on shipping.

You can order singles and parts of items they carry. They also will fax parts breakout diagrams that did not come in my manual.
