I am in a bad situation. We bought our 76' 31' AS Sovereign this summer.
We replaced the tires because the ones that were on it we 2 ply passenger tires.
I was backing up to the outside bay and the guy that was spotting me got distracted and he did'nt signal me to stop. I broke out the curbside turn signal lense. Shattered it. I removed the other one to see if I could find anything that would work. . .NO. . . now I can't find IT.
I was going to order 2 anyway so they would be them same brightness but now I NEED both of them.
I found what I think was the right lense online. It was described as the right one and a picture they showed of the rearend of the 31' Sovereign was the same as mine. . .GREAT. . . it only took me 2 weeks of looking every evening. So I ordered 2 of them and the next day I was refunded my money because they didn't have them. Crickie! NOW WHAT?

I'am not sure if your's are the round or square type lens. You can get the round ones at any truckstop,as their the same ones used on older semi trailers. The square ones I've seen at some rv parts stores,I think their made by "Grote lighting". Sholdn't be too hard to find. Brian

Thanks for the tip. I have been looking for them for weeks. I have found them to be very rare. They are the square type lens cover.
I found a company that showed they had them but when I ordered they refunded my money saying they were discontinued and the manufacture was no longer making them. WHY WOULD YOU STOP MAKING SOMETHING NO ONE CAN GET?
Anyway I will check the Grote Lighting site and see if I can find them.
Vintage Trailer Supply is now having this obsolete lens reproduced in small quantities for owners of late-1970s Airstreams. The lens measures approximately 3.75" long and 2" wide. It fits in a rectangular base in the taillight array.
I have a pair of complete tailight assemblies including the lenses. They are in very good shape except the small rectangular lens in one tailight is missing . Coincidentally, I just put one up for sale today on ebay. I don't want to give them away but will sell very reasonably to a forums member. Send me a PM if anyone is interested. They are off a 75. If I don't hear from 76 Sovereign they are first come first serve. If I can make a deal with a forums member I'll cancel my ebay listing 110343542334. What you got to swap?.
