Turn Bathroom light on and TV's Go out

I have a 2019 International Signature 28 RBQ and when we turn the bathroom light on the TV's go out. We have contacted Airstream customer support and they said that their LD lights may interfere with reception...no way to correct unless "WE" replace the lights. I have the trailer parked at an RV Resort, so taking it to a dealer is not in the picture. Any thoughts?

Are your TV sets plugged into a 12v outlet or 120v?

When you say 'go out' are you referring to the reception or the power?

Yes the overhead led lights in our trailer also interfere with the tv reception so we just leave them off when watching TV--took us awhile to figure out that was the problem!--Frank

Yep. Same problem here as well. Overhead LEDs are causing interference. Not so much our bathroom lights—they are at the opposite end of the trailer from the television and antenna booster. But the overhead LEDs in the bedroom—definitely. We have to keep them off to get any reception.

Here's a previous thread with folks discussing the same problem.

How many Airstream owners does it take to change a light bulb??

I am confused... why would you need to go to a dealer to replace a light bulb? Or, is this a set up? "How many Airstream owners does it take to change a lightbulb?"

FWIW, this isn't really just an "Airstream thing." Your garage door opener also warns that you shouldn't use an LED bulb, because it may interfere with the opener frequency (mine did, and I had to search for an incandescent bulb!).

A different bulb may change the situation (if you get lucky), but generally the solution is either moving the TV or not using the bathroom light when using the tv.

A more "fun" solution would be to build a Faraday cage inside your bathroom.

There no "light bulbs" in a 2019 Airstream except for the 2 heaters in the vent-hood that also produce light (I replaced those with LEDs in my '17.)

The ceiling lights are LED modules with the shiny trim and attachment mechanism integrated with the LEDs, and I think they may be spliced into wires rather than having a plug/unplug connector, so it's a bit more fiddly than replacing a normal lightbulb.

Ahhh... I see. More of Airstream taking a page from the Apple book and making things "proprietary" and thus not user friendly.

Maybe if the OP posts a photo of the lights, the hive mind can help with some suggestions on how to replace without having to visit a dealer.

As a workaround, perhaps a low profile lamp (maybe even wall hanging?) that can plug into a receptacle in the bathroom? At this point with tech, there are even some decent battery powered "pucks" that produce enough light for a small bathroom (some are even motion activated).
