Scare light switch is broken and I need another one.
Does anybody know where I can buy a two prong switch for my scare light? It is the same type of switch they have for all the lights. I have searched the Internet and Inland RV catalog but I cannot find one. Radio shack does not carry them. I also went to Lowes.
Anyone know if the replacement switches with fit the original skin plate...?
If that's the switch you order, it's the same size as the original. It's called a toggle switch, and the one you want is SPST (single pole, single throw), and in white.

Thanks - I took the original apart and rebuilt/cleaned it since I couldn't find a replacement either at the time... but, it would be wise to have a couple new ones around when it fails again.
I fixed my scare light. I was able to visit a RV repair shop (Apalachee RV in Auburn Ga.) and get a new rocker switch. It is almost a perfect match. The color is off white but just a very little bit. I put in a new socket, bulb and grounded it. It works just fine. That is the one thing my wife really wanted was the scare light working.
My switch over the kit. sink (72 Tradewind) got a little hot last week and was VERY hard to turn off ( both hands and press hard). So it looks like it's on its last legs, does the switch above fit the same socket hole?
