Scare light help!
I am needing a little help with the scare light by the entrance door on our 68 Tradewind. So far all I have done is replaced the bulb. I see two light switches above the entrance door on the inside of the Coach, but after trying both of these I still have no exterior light. Just curious as to what I should try next! All the best!

Mine are 70's/80's vintage and the scare light switch is way forward of the door, it is in front of the big side window near the front curved glass wing window.
The two switches near the door control the porch light and the kitchen sink light.
Yours may be different.

The switch for the scare light on my 1966 Tradewind is forward of the window also. As it happens, I had to pull the switch out and repair the connections due to corrosion at the terminals. Must've been some moisture there at some point.

Thanks guys, I was a little misleading about the location of the switches, I believe mine are forward of the window also. I will try taking the switch plate off and checking the connections. So one switch possibly controls the kitchen sink light? Many Thanks!

It doesn't control, the kitchen sink light, it works the light overhead just inside the door. turn that light on then try the switch.

Thanks Shacksman, I will try that switch for the overhead light, and the other switch should be for the exterior light.

My scare light was giving me problems as well. I drilled the 2 rivets holding to wall. Popped it out to see that the wire and connection was green. So I cleaned the connector with a little wire brush and die electric grease. Lit up the whole yard.

I remember the switch as turning on the galley light. Might vary from model to model
