Scare Light Gasket

I unscrewed our scare light tracking a leak coming form it because the gasket material between the light fixture and the skin is over 40 years old on our 69 Overlander. It simply fell apart of course. Anyone know where I can get a replacement gasket-or would Butyl tape work? I've only found the lens and lens gasket but not the actual fixture gasket online.

You can make a gasket out of polyurethane shower pan liner. They sell it at most hardware stores in the bath section, usually a big roll sold by the foot. Trace the old one or the light, cut it with a knife, then install it with a gasket adhesive or good caulk to seal.
