running lights are out

I have a 2012, Eddie Bauer, just purchased it used. All exterior lights (brakes and blinkers) work but the running lights do not. I checked by hooking to another trailer and my truck suceessfully sent current. When I first hooked up my new purchase, my truck fuse for the trailer park lights blew. I have replaced the fuse but still no running lights. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you have a short. I'd pull apart the 7-pin connector and start checking wires there.

I agree with Skater. The position of the + Positive pin and the clearance light pin are next to each other 1 and 11 o'clock. I had the same problem, yes shorted out wires. Good call by Skater!
