Running light bulbs..

I am replacing all the upper running lights along the top of the trailer. The originals are kind of ...well... original and old. Gaskets are shot, the ground through the rivets bad... so new base units are coming, today hopefully... and I was told I can keep the original lenses which is great!
Now then I am not sure if the bases will come with bulbs and I suspect they won't, so I will most likely need new bulbs for them. What is the proper bulb number for them? Please no I am not interested in installing L.E.D. bulbs, just vintage original types thank you.

Replacement clearance lights are available that are the same size as the originals.

For that matter, so are the LED's.

Regular clearance lights are ok, but they do burn out bulbs.

Not so, with LED's that granted, cost a little more, but will outlast your usage of the trailer, with zero problems, not even rust.

Barry.

I think you will find that the original lenses, will fall off the new bases.

Plastics, for most part, change dimensionally, in time.

Bases "do" come with bulbs.

But, the bulb number for some of the replacements is #57.

The newer style Grote clearance lights use a different number.

I am out of state, so I don't have that info with me.
