Red or black?

I have new LED tail lights.(3 wires) white is ground. Is red stop, and black turn? Also I have a new seven pin U cord (6) 12's and (1) 10 the 10 is white and I assume is the ground?Clearance lights are grounded to ribs.Should I ground the LED tails to a rib also?I am connecting to a junction box that is color marked and notes what wire goes where.Where do I connect the license plate light as it is not marked.

Hook one up with ground, then touch your hot to red then black, the brightest one will be brake light.Just tie license light to the tail light. Dave

You can use a battery charger to test all of your circuits. Just connect the black lead to ground with a good connection and use the red lead to test all of the circuits.
