Rear light replacement

There is a small light on the rear, it's on the left lower side about 12 inches above the bumper. The light has a cut crystal look and is about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. I imagine it comes on when connected to shore power. How do you get at the bulb to change it. I have a 1973 Landyacht.
Thanks, Fraser
