OK, I lost it!

I was inserting the center LED can light in the overhead of the rear cabinet and one spring retainer popped off into the ceiling space between the inner and outer skins. Does anyone know where a replacement spring can be found without having to buy a $50 replacement fixture?

If you have one of those little magnets on a stick, you can try inserting it into the hole, and see if you can retrieve the spring. The spring is, after all, steel.

Go to the local hardware with one of the other retaining springs. In the hardware section they should have the little drawers with various grommets, springs, and retainers. Or you could buy the multi pack of springs off the pegs if it looks like one would match.

Ok, hoped there was a parts site that I haven't found, tried magnets, mirrors, etc., now off to hardware store to see if I can jury-rig another spring. Thanks for the responses.

Don't know how this will work but you could try a vacuum cleaner . . . Also, if the area is small and dark, using something flexible like a power plug off the computer with the end smoothered in vasoline might grab something. Good luck!
