New main panel

Adding an outlet for new gas/electric water heater so need to replace 2 space original panel(one space being used for 30A main, other space has double 20A breaker). Kind of confused as to Main, sub panel etc. Thinking this one would do the trick allowing me to setup the 30 amp main in one space and a couple of double 20A breakers which would allow me the additional circuit plus an empty space for another circuit or two for future. Would this panel do the trick as I believe it would? Thanks all! Greg

That panel is huge! 125 Amps is really overboard for a TT.
I would recommend this one:

Im looking to do inexpensively as already have the GE breakers including a 30a that I would use as main and would only have to purchase one additional breaker and box is much cheaper than PD5500, like only $25, is small, (8x10) to fit in existing location. Would this panel work? Thanks!
