Mysterious Red Light on Roof.

While returning from a late night walk with the dog, I noticed a red light glowing on the top of my new 20' 2025. It is just in front of the AC and looks like it is on the domed TV antenna. I checked the inside antenna activation button and it is OFF. Any ideas what this is ... and if it has any parasitic drain when the trailer is in storage?

Yes, it is the power antenna. Noticed that on mine too. In the area where the TV is or media player connection, there is a small round button that will turn the antenna on and off which will also turn that outside light on and off too.

Confirms antenna is powered.
Should have a draw of just under 1 amp

I turned off the TV antenna button, but the light is still on.

You got us on that one if light still on

Since you mentioned, it is brand new 2025, I would not be surprised if there’s something just slightly wired incorrectly. I get sense It’s part of the first year or two of RV ownership and use

Likely time to have dealer track it down, the other thing you could do is track it down yourself self diagnose, and then learn more about all the different systems.

I have a 2025 Trade Wind. It also has a red pilot light on the outside TV antennae.

The switch to turn it "OFF" is close to the radio/entertainment center. It is a tiny little button on a electric outlet sized blank panel. It almost looks like a screw or rivet.

Check the AS owner's manual for the radio/entertainment center section. Ask a dealer to show it to you. Ask another AS owner in the campground to show it to you.

The light is probably only a small part of the draw.
If the light uses 1A I would change to an LED to save power.

It’s gotta be an LED in this day and age

Had the same issue on my 2024 Bambi. On my model, the rather tiny button is located on the side of the radio, not near the TV. From the replies it seems the location varies. Hope you figure it out.

That's a lot of power to loose if it's on all the time.

Red light

Our fantastic fans have a small red light. I stays on if you close the lid but don’t turn the fan speed to off.

Perfectly normal. Same on my 2023 classic 33. The antenna booster button has no effect on the ‘RED LED’ being on. The milliamp draw is negligible and you shouldn’t be concerned.
