marker lights

Does anyone know a source for red and amber marker light assemblies? Airstream Dreams lists them as not currently available. Thanks y'all

Here's a start!

http://www.grote.com/

I have never acutally spent enough time on their site to find
my matching lights ... but I'm told they are here.

Cheers!

Wally world

I have made the mistake of buying them from my local camping store for 5.09. Imagine my dissappointment yesterday when I bought two more from Wal mart for 2.09 each.

Walmart, NAPA etc., are these lights the real thing or just red/amber lights that cover up the hole and glow in the dark? Please pardon my ignorance.

It is a 2 piece thing. there is a base that screws to the skin of the trailer, and a snap on cover that is orange or red. There is one wire that powers the light from the car pigtail.

Old ones have one bulb, the newer ones have two. The newer ones are ALOT brighter.

Cool Need sun glasses

Just finished my last marker light.

My original had two bulbs with the old metal base bulbs,( the ones that come apart when you try to twist them out of the socket). The old bulbs fit into a metal retainer that was spring loaded. They did not make very good contact so they were intermittant at best. Most of them would fall apart as soon as I touched them.

The new marker lights have a plastic housing that accepts the little all-glass bulbs, ( like the bulbs that go into yard lights ). These also have two bulbs and are very bright.

The new lights look just like the originals that I removed.

The manufacturer is PM and they are sold at both camper world, ( expensive) and Wally world, (cheap).
